So you might have noticed that the past months I have not been very active on Tropical U.P, shame on me and things will definitely change from now. The past weeks have been a rollercoaster and included me being laid off by the company that I used to work for.
Being laid off really feels terrible. I already started with earning a residual income online, but this was not yet on the level that I would feel comfortable with as my only income. As you might know I am living with my girlfriend Teresa in South China, to make matters worse you automatically lose your right to stay when you are no longer employed. Ultimately this will result that I not only lost my job but that we also lose our life in China.
Although this was a tuff at first, I also did not have a lot of chances to feel bad or worried about our situation. The past weeks we have been very busy with making all the preparations for our next steps and I like to think of being laid off as an opportunity for a new start.
Before I was laid off I was already looking at other opportunities and side project that I was interested to participate in, me being laid off allows me to put in more time and effort. In light of all these developments, we have also decided to leave South China for now. As I mentioned before I will no longer have a visa and we will pursue our dreams elsewhere. Leaving China, a place that I called my home for the past 2.5 years was not an easy decision, but we know that at the moment this is the right thing to do.
I will continue to work on my current projects and I plan to share more about this in detail in the future. It is nice to work towards my own personal goals and have more time available to contribute to what needs to be done. I have faith that I will be able to create a better future and lifestyle.
Stay tuned for more updates in the future because there are a couple of interesting things that I am looking forward to sharing. As always thanks for being awesome and feel free to drop a message below!
